The Ancient Stadium of Kos is a remarkable archaeological site, showcasing the Greek tradition of athletic competitions and physical prowess. Situated in front of the chapel of Agia Anna (St. Anna) and south-west of the ruins of the northern Thermae – in the vicinity of the Western Archaeological Zone, this stadium was a focal point for sporting events in ancient times, embodying the Greek ideal of a harmonious development of body and mind.
